About AIB Rugby Football Club

Mission
"We will continue to improve while maintaining our roots as a social club."

AIB Dublin RFC is a competitive team with a very strong social focus. We currently play at J4 level in the Leinster league, and against corporate and overseas touring sides.

AIB Dublin RFC was founded in 1974 and in the initial years competed in the Business Houses League with Teams such as Aer Lingus (now Swords), Bank of Ireland, Central Bank, Nixdorf, Revenue, Meat Packers (now Barnhall), Guinness and Unidare.

In 1999 the club became a member of the Leinster Branch and has competed in the Leinster Metropolitan Leagues every year since.

Up until 2003 the club played at the AIB Sports & Social Club grounds off the Fortfield Road in Terenure. However, following the sale of the grounds for development the club moved to Sportslink in Santry until 2006. In 2006 we moved to our current home ground of D.C.U.
